I am an artist of many mediums and subjects. My works comment on mental health and the nature of life and its struggles. I work with clay, glass, printmaking, sewing, digitally, ink and pastels.

In Minnesota, every lake is “the lake” and no matter what you plan to do, it will be at the lake. My love of nature is seen in my art through my exploration of what it means to be alive. Genki, my service dog, accompanies me everywhere and encourages me to spend more time hiking to the middle of nowhere.

I began training as an artist in high school within a specialized arts program and honed my skills independently before continuing formal training. Ultimately, I graduated from Normandale Community College with two degrees, an AA with an Arts emphasis and an AFA. During my time at Normandale I expanded my skills to include a variety of mediums, working as an assistant in the 3D art studio and the art gallery, participating in the Pottery Club, and even co-founding the art club, Artitude.
